Why am I getting phone calls constantly from this number!

I looked it up on the internet and it comes up.. The call of death! WTH!

I decided to answer it and nobody was there. I called the number back and it's says it's disconnected.

Was it the grim reaper or what?

Has anyone else had a call from this number? or is it just me:confused:

:scared1: Holy Crap....that would freak me out:eek: Can you get it blocked?

Not lately, but we got it last year. No one is ever there.

I called At&T and they said I'd have to get on the national no call list but I'm already on that! I signed up for it again but it said it would take 30 days to update. I'm going to go looney before 30 days! This number calls like 6 times a day. Crap it's calling right now!

Holy smokes I need some holy water!

I get calls from that number and it is Blockbuster telling me I'm late returning movies.

that's really scary, I don't have caller ID on my home phone but it never calls my cell. I would be sooo scared if I was ya'll.

Here's a real creepy one for you. In my old house- I was getting calls from 666-666-6666. The phone company was telling me that was impossible as that is not a number. Well then I get a call with my grandparents number on the caller id- only they had been dead for a couple years by then!:scared1:

Notice I said OLD house- we moved! Lots of creepy things happened there.

One of the phones on my account got these for about two weeks. I contacted Verizon to see if they had heard anything about it. They didnt.
They wouldnt block it either. Simple said dont answer it.
Had that cell phone put on the do not call list. The phone calls stopped about a week later.

sounds like somebody bought one of those phones that you can program in what caller ID will see. and whoever did that is playing games. you can also buy devices that go between your phone and the outside line that will override your outgoing number to whatever you want it to be.

I think that's kind of neat - the last part about your grandparents number. I believe it was simply their way of contacting you from beyond. I haven't heard from my dad for a long time. The night he passed (I was the only one present), once the family had gathered, I stepped out on the porch to gather my thoughts. I heard music similar to wind chimes, but far more beautiful. The night was still (it was around 2 AM) without a breeze in the air. Then a month or so later I was cleaning my daughters room. I always put the tv on to keep me company. It kept turning off. At first I just thought it was a glitch, but it happened 4 or 5 times. Finally I said "Dad, knock it off! (he was a tv addict) I'm trying to get some work done!" Never happened again.

Learn to love and appreciate the little signs from beyond that those we have loved are still with us.

So THIS must be those ghost stories that they talk about in the song, "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year": There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
