I am a new DVC owner and will be taking my first trip home in June. Usually we have stayed in one of the resorts for between 5-7days and used the UPH passes. Since We are on the west coast, and usually go every other year the AP's were not cost effective. This June we are staying for 5 days at OKW, two weekend days with friends in Daytona Beach, and then back to SSR for 5 days. The UPH passes usually are great for us to have access to all that WDW offers when and how often we choose to go. We're just wondering if anyone might have any ideas on other options we might investigate. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions you all might have.

Like you, I don't go to WDW enough to get my money's worth with the Annual Passes.

However, in your case this year, I think the AP would be your best best. I've never done the math myself, but I hear nine days is the break-even for an AP. Since you'll be there for 10, then you'll come out ahead.

As for have the add-on attractions and flexibility of a UPH, perhaps a PAP is actually the way to go for you. I think the DIS has a good overview of ticket options here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htmhttp://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htm

Do you plan on going to the parks everyday or not? That answer will change the best option for you. Mousesavers.com has info on choices and deals. Here is the link:

Good luck!

If there is a chance you will want to go to the parks even most of those days, you will likely be best off with the AP. I like the Mousesavers analysis too, but my favorite AP breakeven analysis is the one on Deb's AllEarsNet.com . But hey, maybe two 4 day park hoppers are the way to go, or a 7 day PHP if you might want to do some of the "plus" activities like water parks and stuff.
