We just bought into SSR, since we were able to get a 2006 UY we have points burning a hole in our pocket ;) . We've decided to drive down from Chicago :scared1: the day the kids get out of school. We have a villa booked at SSR for 11/26-12/1 so we thought we'd try another DVC. Here are our options:

1. 6 nts Preferred Pool/Garden veiw BWV
2. 6 nts VWL
3. 7 nts OKW
4. have to waitlist for BCV since a couple of days in the middle not avail.

We've stayed at BCV a few years ago and WL a long time ago before kids (and LOVED it). I'm not familiar where a pool/garden view would be a BWV and I'd really rather have a std view to use less pts, if I'm going to use the higher pt value I'd rather a boardwalk veiw but neither are available. We know nothing about OKW except they have bigger rooms and lower pts so we can stay an extra night.

Help! Anyone have an opinion?

I think you should consult your husband. He is known to me as someone of great vision with a keen wit :) :)

My first questions in helping plan a trip are always:

How old are the kids (and how many)?
Are there any parks/parts of WDW you anticipate wanting to spend a lot of time in?

Whatever you do though, be carefull about consulting your husband...could be dangerous ;)

For that time of the year the VWL is wonderful. We love the BWV the most. You can't beat the location and the Community Hall which is great for kids.

Kids will be 10, 6, and 5
We visit all parks but generally MK most
LOL.....very funny he keeps asking me :) . (Briantime is dh  )

But I've got to ask how you can make reservations before April 27 since these are SSR points and that's when the first night of the 7 month window opens? By the end of April availability may change.

Our Nov trip is booked at SSR our home resort with 2007 pts. These plans are for a June trip, when the kids get out of school for summer with 2006 pts.

I'm not a fan of BWV, and while VWL would be nice, you can't beat the extra night in larger accommodations at OKW. I'd vote for the extra time.

Go with VWL. If you mostly do MK, it will be more convenient.

As a mom of three who has driven thousands of miles with kids, I vote for an extra day at OKW in order to rest up from the drive down and for the drive up to your home.

By the way, I was LOL that your DH posted!

Happy Planning!

I love em all...so no problem staying at any of the resorts, but...

Given your situation, I would likely select OKW for the extra night and wait list of Standard View at the BWV.

That said, VWL is truly lovely and awe inspiring...the entrance to WL is really incredible. for sheer WOW factor, I give it to VWL.

my 2 cents...whereever you choose, I hope it is magical!
