I am confused. We are coming to WDW 3/22 - 3/28 -- a busy time of the year. My mom and I are bring my DS2.5 and DS5 down on Monday and will arrive in the middle of the day (probably around 12 or 1). My Dad and my DS will arrive on Wednesday. We are all leaving Saturday morning. Can you offer some advice on which parks to do which days? I think we will probably go to the MK two times, but other than that, I am not sure how to arrange our schedule. For instance, should we try for EMH or not? (We are staying at POP). We do plan on being at the park early and leaving for a mid-day break. We don't currently have park hoppers...but should we get them?Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please help me arrange our trip so that we get the most out of our time a WDW!

I would recommend professional help and subscribe to Tourguide Mike. :thumbsup2 Especially since its spring break, I think the advice will be so helpful. He advises you which parks to go to on which actual dates (not just general days), and he explains his reasons why. I would also recommend following a touring plan, either from tourguide mike, or unofficial guide. I don't think during slow times it would matter so much, but it will be busy when you are there.

In general the advice seems to say skip the parks on days they have EMH, because they are just that much more crowded. Also, be sure to get there at rope drop (a little before the park opens). Hoppers are not necessary - one park a day is plenty, really.

Enjoy your trip!

We love EMH mornings, but we don't do EMH evenings (too late for our kiddos). We're early risers anyway, so getting to a park by 8:00 AM is no problem for us. We love having that first hour without huge lines. By lunch time, or a little bit later, we're ready to go back to the resort for a nap/swim and relax before heading back out for dinner.

As for parkhoppers, it depends on what you want/like. We always get them because we like the flexibility. If you don't know what your kids are going to like/dislike, it might be nice to be able to hop. Or, if you get to a park and it's insanely crowded, it might be nice to have the option of trying another park that might be less crowded. Also, it would give you more flexibility if you wanted to hit a particular park for just a few hours (we've done DHS in a half day on our shorter trips).

I could be wrong, but I think you can add the park hopper option on while you are at Disney. If that's the case, you could start off without them and add them on if you find that would work best for you.

Another vote here for Tour Guide Mike! :thumbsup2 I have found the information and especially the forums on that site to be invaluable to my trip planning.

Tourguide Mike or get the Unofficial Guide to Disney Book. I have used both and they are excellant. You will have a better time if you have a plan.
