Help! Which park to do twice: MK or AK?

Where are you seeing that AK closes at 9:00 PM? The website shows AK closing at 8:00 PM.
Oh ya you are right. I guess I got confused with the Monday since the first showing of jungle book is at 9pm.

Take a look at my schedule and let me know what you think:
09/04: afternoon arrival (no park)
09/05: AK or MK?
09/06: EP
09/07: HS
09/08: Pool day and MNSSHP
09/09: Typhoon Lagoon
09/10: MK
09/11: AK and Wild Africa Trek

I would do MK because if there is bad weather or illness and certain parades or fireworks are important then you have a second chance to see them on 9/10. If 9/5 and MNSSHP is enough you can always go spontaneous and decide when you wake up on 9/10 what your really going to do.

Your absolutely right and that is the plan I will follow. Thanks such great advise on these dis boards!

I would pick MK for a second day and my husband would totally pick AK for a second day!

I think Ak is one of the most underrated parks at WDW. It is such a beautiful place and there are so many hidden gems throughout the park to explore. I think that is why I was having so much trouble choosing. My husband really wanted to go to AK twice but I think the more logical park to do twice is MK especially because I am on the monorail. But like "Accident" said, I could always do MK on my first day and change my park choice on the 09/10 if I see I don't want to do MK again. It is a pretty good plan!
Thanks again everyone! I am so happy you all helped me! :thumbsup2

You mentioned you had Halloween Party tickets, going to MK twice+ the party is 3 trips. If that is the case, I would do AK twice. What I like about AK is the park/animals can be a completely different experience than the day before.
