Help! Where should we stay?

Which hotel should be choose?

  • Yes! The Anaheim Desert Inn Suites is great!

  • No! Avoid the Anaheim Desert Inn Suites!

  • Yes! The Comfort Inn is great!

  • No! Avoid the Comfort Inn!

  • Other - you should try another hotel - please post!

If you can afford it, stay at one of the resort hotels. The benefits of doing so are great...If not, then I suggest the Howard Johnson. It's within walking distance to the park. Have a good time wherever you stay though! :goodvibes

If they are looking at staying someplace for less then $80 per night, I doubt they would find the benefits at the resort hotels "great". The rates onsite are about 3 times what they want to spend. They wouldn't really get anything with a $$ value for that. No free meals, no free shuttle, heck you even have to pay for parking onsite!
 
We're leaning toward doing Desert Inn and Suites. We're also thinking that we can return the rental car and not have to pay the extra days for it.

Isn't there an Alamo rental nearby - they're usually Disney's car choice? Are there any other rentals with car returns nearby?

How far is the walk to the hotel, anyway?
