We have the opportunity to visit WDW again. We were there in July and had a magical time.

Now the opportunity has arrisen to go again with extended family.

The timing will either be Nov 13-20 (not Thanksgiving week) or some time in April or May.

What is the better time to go??

Thank you.

April has the least amount of rain. Perfect weather. I'd vote for April!

Mid November has the advantages of cooler weather and low crowds, but the run up to thanksgiving can get hectic, especially on the return flight to wherever you're coming from. May is also a lower attendence time, you've got the flower and garden fest at Epcot, but with the drawback of warmer weather; you'll get the cheapest airfares and least crowded flights in May too. April has other folks' school vacations (the third week for folks in Mass, Maine and parts of NY and CT) but glorious weather.

Weighing everything together, I think I'd go for May.

We are worried about April being spring break time?? Does anyone know when to go to avoid this.

Also are all the attractions open at the times we are considering going??

We were there the third week of April this year and it was perfect.

What you want to watch for are grad nights at MK, because the park closes early for the public, and there are no fireworks or Spectromagic for the public that night.

And one night the park was bought out by McDonalds. I'm not sure if that is annual or a one time deal.

We learned of those events here, and planned around them so we didn't miss Wishes and the parade.

Otherwise the crowds were great at the parks, not too bad except around parade times and stroller parking.....

The weather was perfect. Not a hint of rain while we were there. Not too hot or humid yet.

It was so great in fact, that we plan to go again in the spring.

What we do is just check when WDW resorts go from peak rates to regular rates.

We also enjoyed the Flower show at EPCOT.

I know it's little early but does anybody from MA, ME, NY or CT have next year's spring break schedule. I have a trip planned in late April 2005 (4/17-4/21) and want to avoid the crowds if possible. Thanks :wave2:

tamu91, I'm from mass and we are out the 17-24. We will be in disney that week!:Pinkbounc

square pond .. I'll be there with you. Although I have no plans to change our dates but I'd like to get an idea what we might be up against. How are the crowds with spring breakers from the north? Will it be as bad as the March spring break crowds from the south?

Our vote is for May! Perfect weather, manageable crowds, no spring breaks and great park hours! Still got to see all parades and fireworks shows!
