Help - What Was This Drink??

Not sure if this is in the right area to ask....

When I went down in 08 and stayed at the ASMo, I had a drink at the poolside bar. It was the most yummy drink I have ever had!! I cannot remember the name of the drink for the life of me! I looked on the menu online and nothing pops out.

I believe the color was green. It wasnt a tootie fruity drink. I am thinking the name had something to do with treasure (something pirate?).

One thing i DO remember is the price... $10!!!


Anyone know what I am talking about?

I believe it is called the Sunken Treasure. I had one at the AKL. It was sooo good!

I am intrigued by this nectar of the gods. Any idea of the ingredients? Some Midori(melon liquer)? Perhaps mixed with rum?

Just looked it up - found it on the menu at hurricane hannas at yacht & beachclub!

Malibu Coconut Rum, Midori Melon Liqueur, Tropical juices and Sprite with a splash of Blue Curacao

My bartender at AKL, Frank, made it for me without the Malibu and with Tommy Bahama instead. Extra delicious!

All the poolbars carry the Sunken Treasure as part of the new standardized menu, which is a couple of years old now. However, even though lounge and restaurant bars do not have it on all of their menus, the recipe is known across property.

1 1/4 oz. Malibu (or Parrot Bay) Coconut Rum
3/4 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
1 oz. orange juice
1 oz. pineapple juice

Shake and strain ingredients over a glass of ice.
Top with 1 oz. Sprite and a splash of Blue Cuarcao Liqueur.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
