Help! What should I do?

19 days out and I thought everything was perfectly planned and now a wrench has been thrown in some of it. My dad called me today (he's a local) and he wants to join us on one of the Saturday's that we are at MK. My sister and her dh will be there too, but they are staying at the resort with us. My dad just wants to be a day guest. We have all of our fastpasses booked and even have a BOG fast pass for lunch. How can I include them in our plans? We already are a party of six with one person in a wheelchair. Now we will be a party of 8. Help!

Is he just looking to spend time with y'all? As a local I am guessing he's heard or read about the FP. Maybe talk to him about what plans you have and then he may just want to wait for you to get off rides.

Taking my parents to WDW in 30 days for their FIRST EVER Disney trip. Your post gives me tears of joy of what I will be experiencing with them!

I agree completely with this, but since you asked how to include him, add him to your MDE, have him buy a ticket now and link it to your account so you can make FP+ selections for him on that day. You may be able to copy over your selections to him or get times close enough so that you all can enter together. As far as BOG lunch, you can always ask if they will let one more person in with your party if you explain the situation. If not, wait in line for BOG while he goes off to a ride a couple of rides with his grandkids.

I think BOG would be ok, you just explain the situation when you get there and they would probably add him. Regarding fast passes, that is another story since I assume he is buying a day pass. You may be able to get him some fast passes as soon as you get into the park once he has a ticket. How does that work with a day pass, does everyone get a band.

Someone posted, that you can back out and it gives you different times, back out again, different times until you get what you want. He probably won't get everything, but maybe enough.

Ok -- re-reading my original post makes me feel like I need to re-word it. Of course, I am happy to spend time with my dad and create memories, etc. My mother passed away 10 years ago (I was only 27 at the time, she was 52) and I was even crying today at the loss of memories with her and my children. So, it's not like I don't get that. Anyway, he *will* be will us at all times and we are looking forward to being with him all day. I just would like him to be able to ride the rides with us easily and also not have to wait in line for a BOG lunch when we have our fast passes for it. I know he would enjoy eating lunch at BOG. If we have to, we will just wait in line with him. I just was wondering if anyone had any advice about how to add him, that is all.

Just thought I would update. I spoke with my sister and it looks like we are going to have a complete change of plans. A good friend of ours who is also a CM will be getting him I n for the day. CM's are blacked out of the Magic Kingdom for June and July. since that day also happens to be a Star Wars weekend, it looks like Epcot is going to be the place we will be at that day. Now I'm off to play with my Disney experience and change our fast passes. I am going to have my dad create a MDE account with the hopes that when we get to the park, we can just add him onto our FP+. I'll just change our be our guest reservation for another day. It's all good.

Do you or your sister have room in your room to add him to the reservation? He wouldn't have to stay in the room since he is local, but that would allow you to add him to the FP, etc. now.
