Help What Should I Do????

[OUR 1ST DISNEY TRIP]

HELLO I AM DEBATING ON OUR DISNEY TRIP. HOPEFULLY SOME ONE COULD SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE SUBJECT. I HAVE OUR FIRST DISNEY TRIP SCHEDULE FOR SEPT 26 TO OCT. 3. I WILL BE ME AND MY SON WHO WILL TURN 6 ON SEPT 27. I PLANNED THIS NOT KNOWING THAT FRIEND OF OURS ARE GOING THE WEEK BEFORE 9-22 TO 9-29. THEY HAVE A 5 YEAR OLD AND A 2 YEAR OLD. WE BOTH (NOT KNOWING) PLANNED TO STAY AT ALL STAR MOVIES. WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY WERE GOING I TRIED TO CHANGE MY RESERVATION HOWEVER WITH THE FREE MEAL PLAN AT THAT TIME THERE ARE NO EMPTY ROOMS THE WEEK THEY ARE THERE. THEY CANT CHANGE THEIR WEEK BECAUSE THEY ALREADY PERCHASED AIRFARE. I GUESS WHAT I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IS SHOULD I CHANGE MY WEEK AND STAY AT A DIFFEREN HOTEL(HAD HOPES ON MOVIES SINCE TOY STORY IS SONS FAVORITE MOVIE) OR KEEP IT AS I ORIGANALLY PLANNED.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I think it depends on what would be more fun for you and your son. Would you enjoy being with the other people, or the flexibility of being on your own?

If I am reading this correctly, won't you have a couple days with them anyways? I think you have the best of both worlds. You will have plenty of alone time with your son and you will get to see your friends for a few days. It is very stressful to travel with groups of people. I have done it for every vacation so far. It is fun, but also takes a lot of coordinating. I wouldn't change your hotel. If you were there for the same week as your friend, trying to meet up when you are in a different hotel would be such a pain. I would try to plan a day with your friends and call it good.

I would keep your original plans. You have 3 days that overlap where you will get to see them.
