HELP! What month should we be looking for...

Hi all... We are doing the research to purchase DVC and I have a question:

Does the month that stars your Use Year matter?

If we buy, we will be coming to WDW either every year or every other year. For at least the first 8 years of our purchase we will need to vacation at WDW in the months of either July or August. (After 8 years, we will have a lot more flexibility.

With that in mind, I hear many people on this sight looking for certain months as the start of their Use Year. WHy is it important and based on what I've stated above what would be the ideal month for us to start our use year?

I just bought with a March UY. The only thing know is I have to bank any extra points by the end of October. I don't understand how a certain UY affects your ability to book at a DVC resort. As I understand it the "rule of four" only applies to non-DVC bookings, which would be hard to get in under four months anyhow.
