Ted and I are using "Flightline" which is a shared, shuttle van service to get to and from Logan on our upcoming trip.

Flightline people just told me that we may "switch" vans to make things more efficient at their Transfer Location in ANdover.

We had planned on giving the driver $10-$15 each way for a tip after reading these boards and had already budgeted for that amount.

If we have two vans should we tip TWICE? How does that work? I don't have any experience with this sort of thing!

If you believe that the service warrants a tip for both drivers, my advice is to split what you have budgeted between the drivers. If you planned to tip $10 for the trip from home to the airport, give each driver $5.

I agree. Split the tip between the 2 drivers. There's no reason to double the tip you had planned as the change of vans is not your idea!

THanks. That's what I was thinking. Its no big deal to go over our budget, we've saved enough in other areas. But I really don't want to end up paying $40-$60 in tips just to get to and from the airport! That's almost 50% of the cost of the shuttle!

I just don't want the van drivers to be angry with me.
