Hi everyone!
I need y'alls help! I have no idea what to do for flowers. I am having my wedding reception at the American Adventure. My colors so far are a dark brown and champaign (those are the bridesmaid dress colors). I also want to have touches of gold. I have no ides what flower/color would look good with this combo! My planning session is next week and I would love to have some ideas before meeting with the planner.
Thanks!

They have champagne colored roses, that could work. Or orangish colored roses......? Just a suggestion, is your wedding a fall wedding?

A friend of mine is getting married next August and her bridesmaid dresses are chocolate and champagne and she is using really pale pink flowers. I think the colors are gorgeuous and fresh. When she was looking at october she was considering a deep red instead. hope that helps!

If you're having a fall wedding you incorporate some beautiful fall foliage in all those sumptuous oranges, golds and browns that the leaves are currently.

My sisters colors were black and silver and she had white calla lillies wiwth the leaves painted in silver and a silver bow. I think this would look gorgeous with gold as well.

i'll agree Orange with fall colors sounds so pretty...

love the bridesmaid color choice already...

My colors were originally going to be light pink, brown, and champagne. They look REALLY good together in person. Hope that helps!

What about espresso roses....

I  that colour!
Don't suppose Disney would include those as part of an Intimate bouquet tho'!

ACTUALLY.......I was told by wonderful Rosie they could do the french rose bouquet as part of the intimate package with any color for no extra cost.......so you may be surprised...... :thumbsup2

But of course I upgraded mine and added about $75.00 to my original cost! My poor DF, I think I am going to give him a coronary..... :rotfl2:

so are you actually having this colour, or what is your upgrade? I love flowers but to be honest I can't justify upgrading as it would just be sat in a hotel room until it has to be thrown away. That said, I would quite like a couple of hidden mickey's - I think they are only a few $'s each?

My bouquet is a broad range of shades of pink, from the lightest shade to the darkest, i added 9 more roses than the normal intimate bouquet, i added stephanotis and had rhinestones put in the center of each of them, and then added rhinestones throughout the bouquet......i wanted some sparkle....i also had them add sheer white ribbon that will flow from the bouquet down to about the top of my thigh

That sounds beautiful! Would love to see pictures of that when/if you post your pictures.

Thank you! i will be sure to post pics!

That sounds beautiful.

What about Calla Lillies? They have a very fragrant smell and are very chic.

Wow! So many great responses! I love the idea of the coffee and champagne roses. Also, the knot link was fabulous- it gave me a lot of ideas.

The wedding is actually early February 2007! I am not sure if I should consider this winter or early spring. I don't have much time to plan so these ideas are great! I am overwhelmed!
I didn't know you could do hidden Mickies in the bouquet- are they made of crystals?
Also, has anyone looked into bridal bouquet preservation? Is Disney a good choice- I think they do it?

that actually sounds like a pretty good deal for our money. It sounds beautiful too, especially like the sparkly bits! Are you having it preserved after the wedding?

I love the sound of champagne and coffee roses too - let us know if you decide on this combination. I believe the hidden Mickeys are available in pearl and crystal, for the bouquest and buttonieres, at around $3 each.
I think there may have been discussions on here about floral preservation, try a search. I didn't know Disney did it - any idea how much it costs?

I love Gerbera Daisies and found a bouquet that I love with them, roses and greenery...this type of bouquet may be good for you with yellows and oranges...I like the color to POP...

I sent Rosie the pic and she loves it...

this one would look nice for you...
