Help! Walt Disney Font...

Hi all,

I have downloaded a walt disney font, to disnefy my newsletters BUT I can't get it to work - it doesn't show up in my choices and I don't know what I have done wrong / how to be able to use it....

I am running Open Office on a pc with XP

help please!

Have you put the new font in your fonts folder? That's all I can think of

I think sunset may be correct. Here are the steps to installing a font:

1. Download the font to a location on your computer (Your desktop, a wedding folder, etc.)
2. If the download was a ZIP file, then you should right-click on the compressed file and extract the files to a location on your computer.
3. Select the Start button, then Control Panel, then Fonts
4. Select File, then Install New Font
5. Select your drive / folder from the selection fields at the bottom of the box (this is the folder where you extracted the font files from the zip file)
6. Once the folder is selected, your fonts will automatically appear in the list at the top of the box.
7. Click Select All, then OK

OR, you can skip steps 4 - 7, and click and drag the font file icons into the font folder.

Now the font should be included in the selection list for all of your applications. Best of luck . . . I hope this helps!

Thank you! I am hopeless, I had no idea to do all of that - I expected some magic to happen just by downloading LOL!

I have done it now and can happily type away in walt disney font!
