Hi! I was looking at renting an All Star Vacation home that I found on allears.net

We did the Orlando thing a few years ago. So, we are really only interested in WDW stuff this time:)

I like the condos at Windsor Hills. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and could give me some feedback. I'd appreciate any thoughts you have on it. I'm especially interested in how long it takes to get to WDW and how much of a headache it will be. The last few times we have stayed at Downtown Disney.

Here is my travel info--
mid-July trip
8 people--me, husband, my mom and dad, my brother and my three littles--ages--4 and twins that will be 14 months.

Hi there

We went to WH in December - stayed in a townhouse, but loved the community. It is gated, has a lovely swimming pool (my DD loved it) & is truly only mintes to WDW.
You use a shortcut (Sherbeth Road) & this brings you out at near AK. You are on WDW property in no time. Never had a problem with traffic either getting there or back.
If you have any more questions please ask.:)

Any community (Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Rolling Hills, Indian Creek etc) in that general area will have access to the Sherberth Road back entranct to Disney. It is a great way to get into Disney, we have always found it a fast way to the parks. You can be on park property in 5 minutes and it is a fast (and not too busy) road to get to all the parks.

There is also the new toll road which has another back entrance to Disney.

It's less of a headache than DTD actually...there's a LOT more traffic over by DTD...I just stayed at our home in WHR in Jan and we spent Fri night at a hotel in DTD (our home was booked)... and the traffic by DTD was a nightmare for us actually... from WHR you go in the "back" way and there's none at all basically.

If you have any questions about the resort please ask, it's an awesome place!
