If you have been to these restaurants during the past 6 months only
(want recent reviews)
please let me know which one (or 2) you would pick
for best food, service, atmosphere and overall dining experience
for me & DH

Citricos
Jiko
Narcooses
California Grill
Yachtsman Stkhse

we will be going to Artist Point , Victoria & Alberts, Flying Fish
as these are our favorites
have been to all of the above 5 choices , but not in the last 2 years,
so recent experiences are wanted , thanks - getting excited, 5 weeks away :)

I would pick Citrico's and I have eaten there within the last 3 weeks. Food is consistently good, service impeccable, and we just love it. Make sure you ask for Gwen to be your server, she is delightful. If you want to read my reviews of this restaurant, do a search under my name on this board.....

I have eaten at Jiko's within the past month and was rather disappointed. Service was not great, our food was lukewarm......I will not go back to this restaurant for a while. Very disappointing.

Also, Yachtman's steakhouse, I found disappointing as well. I know people think it is terrific but my husband said his steak was not that good. He prefers Shula's for steak and thinks this restaurant fell short. I am going to be doing a review of this restaurant at a later date when time permits.

These are recent thoughts, I have not done Narcoosese for years... probably because I live in MA and get great seafood at home, this is also the reason I do not do Living Seas.

California Grill, I have not done in a year so I am not up to date on that one. We did it to see what all the buzz was about. I thought it was good, not great...good. I still prefer Citrico's to all of them....these of course are my opinions.... :)

Au contraire to previous poster, I went to Jiko over the Christmas holidays, and had a wonderful meal and perfect service (not sparkling, just perfect!). Much better service than CG, although I liked that as well. There were many complaints about service at CG by other patrons that sat nearby us, but we must have had a cloud of pixie dust around us, as our service, although not perfect, wasn't too bad. Food was good, too.

Ive most recently dined at YSH in December and last July. These meals lived up to our expectations from our visit there a year earlier and everything was amazing. From rolls (with garlic) and salad, right through the entrees and side dishes, everything is perfect. Our service has always been wonderful too.

I vote for Jiko. We had a fabulous meal & fabulous service there in December.

Jiko and Citrico's. Went to both in late February and they were wonderful - food, service, atmosphere, everything. I've been to both places numerous times and never had a bad experience at either one.

I have been to Jikos a few times recently and have always had good food and service. Something I cannot say for California Grill (my most recent trip there will probably be my last, unfortunate given that a few years ago - before they changed chefs and general managers - I used to eat there two - three times a trip). It has been sad to watch California Grill's decline.

We had a fabulous meal at Cal Grill in December -- our third visit in three years and for us it was just as wonderful as it has always been....

We were at Jiko last fall, and CA Grill last Dec., and both were very good. The food at both was excellent, the service at Jiko was much better than CA Grill, although CG wasn't bad, exactly, just not what it should have been.

We eat at both of these restaurants nearly every trip, the food is consistently above average. We used to eat at Narcoossee's quite often, but haven't visited there recently.
