Hi,
We are leaving for WDW in 7 days!!
The first two days of our visit will be spent at USF/IOA.
Sunday, Jan. 5 and Mon., Jan. 6.
We have never been to USF/IOA. I do not have any guide books with information on these parks.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how to tour these two parks, i.e. which attractions/shows first, etc or direct me to a website that would have touring plans?
Thanks in advance,

Keep in mind that I have only been to Universal once. When we were going I read everything I could about touring plans and here are the basics of what I came up with.

USF - go to the back first. Hit Back to the Future, ET, and MIB. Then work your way towards the front. Don't miss Terminator. It's the best.

IOA - If you are after the thrill rides, turn left upon entering the park. Hit Hulk, Spiderman, and Dr. Doom. I would then keep working clockwise around the park. You could bypass the water rides in the morning and go right for Jurassic Park or Dueling Dragons. Keep in mind though that the lines get really long in the afternoon at the water rides, especially if it's hot. Ripsaw Falls and Popeye are both great. You WILL get wet though.

treasuredude,
Thanks for the great touring plans. I think we may just skip the "ater rides" altogether. We are staying at WDW and travelling to US/IOA via Mears shuttle. I don't want to get and feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day. The 10 day forecast predicts day temps of high 60's.
