Ok, we don't really have $1,000,000 to spend. My DD11 has a math project where she has to "spend" $1,000,000 on something. Since we are vacationing at the World this summer, she chose a WDW trip. She has to make graphs and charts showing how she spent the money. She has to get as close to $1,000,000 as possible without going over. I don't know very much about the different possibilities, so I thought I would pick the brains of those in the know. :teeth: Any tips could help, and thanks in advance!!

Stay at the GF Concierge for a month! Take a limo everywhere you go. Go to DTD and buy something from every store. Heck, make it a goal to buy something from every store and shop at WDW.

Almost forgot, invite me and pay me $50K a day to be your tour guide. ;)

First of I would book the Presidential Suite at the Grand Floridian for a few weeks. That will be a big chunk right there!

I think you need to invite a bunch of your DIS friends to join you on your trip - all expenses paid of course!

We'll need a private Illuminations dessert party for the whole group.

Buy a bunch of DVC points so you know you have WDW paid for for your future!

How about chartering a private jet instead?? That would probably cost quite a bit. Invite your whole family and charter jets, buy tickets, get GREAT hotels and pay for all their food. You could also go shopping in the Art of Disney store, that could put a dent in your budget. I think renting out the whole park and having them open ALL of the rides would cost a pretty penny. What a fun assignment for your daughter. I wonder if someone at Disney "special event planning" would be willing to answer questions from your daughter and give price quotes?

throw a wedding in MK (after closing) and the stay in the pres suite for a honeymoon for a week and a half.

or she could pay for my wedding and honeymoon :)

Definately book the most expensive room at the Grand Floridian. Invite some friends and get more than 1 room, like 10. Also get the VIP tours, $125 per hour (5 hour minimum). The VIP tour will add up if you get it for about 13 hours of the day each day. But only to a few thousand.. It'll get you real close though in the longrun

:rotfl: You guys are great.........This is such a fun project, and of course if it were real, all Dis'ers would be invited!! :p Keep the suggestions coming, I am checking into some right now.

I would go to the disney website and price out the more expensive accomadations. That would give her an idea of how much the hotel should cost.

Get a full-service Disney wedding, I saw a special on Food Network awhile back, and the featured wedding, with a pre-ceremony tea party, ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, ride in a glass carriage, full sit-down dinner for tons of guests, it was $70,000! Just have a few of those and your million will be gone in no time!

I like the wedding idea. I think to get married in front of Cindy's castle you have to at least spend 52,000. Which gives you something to start with :earsboy:

Invite all DISers!

Richard Petty Driving Experience (NASCAR Stock Car Racing thing) - Experience of a Lifetime Package - $1,300

Have a trail ride with 100 friends or so for $32 per person per 45 mins.

Dinner at Victoria & Alberts in Grand Floridian (Chef's Table, of course) - around $300-$500 a meal if I'm not mistaken

Buy a PAP for everyone going -- around $500 each
