We head to the World mid Sept.. We have 10 TS credits to plan.. I want to try new stuff.. here's where we ate last year:

Hoop Dee Doo Revue ( a fave but don't want to do it this trip)

Tony's breakfast ( wasn't impressed)

Chef Mickey's ( too chaotic)

Crystal Palace ( good meal but the chef was too slow to address my allergy so everyone was done eating before I even got to eat)

1900 Park Fare with the step sisters ( LOVED LOVED it)

Sci Fi ( good food but I am not a fan of eating in the cars)

Coral Reef ( was excellent )

Tuskar House breakfast ( loved it)

mama Melrose fantasmic package ( was good but no desire again).

This trip we have 7 people.. 3 adults, one newly 18 year old, 10,8 and 6.

any idea's you can throw at me and why would be awesome!

Teppan Edo is my Fav! Great food and entertaining chefs.

Cape May Clambake is a really good buffet with a big variety.

Biergarten! It's probably my favorite restaurant in WDW. It has a great atmosphere and a unique buffet. I'm not sure about the allergy stuff so that may come into play.

There is live entertainment too!

My 17 year old and his then GF went to Teppan Edo.. they enjoyed it!

Cape May is actually on my DEF list :)

I second Biergarten. Ate there for the 1st time last year and LOVED IT! Will be on our menu this fall too. Also second Cape May Clam Bake, myy husband would eat there every night if he could. Ohana's is every year for us too.

Sweet.. Most chefs are very good about my allergy so usually it's not an issue.. 1900 park fare made me a steak because I couldn't eat the meats on the buffet..lol. Crystal Palace was more of an anomaly really..

Ohana/./yes!! I knew I was missing one that I really wanted to do!!

We love Ohana dinner. I don't think we'll ever make a trip to WDW and not eat there.:thumbsup2

Try 50's PTC at DHS. We love the comfort food there, and we preferred this to Sci-Fi (we didn't like eating in the cars either).

Others that we like that weren't mentioned, and want to repeat on future trips, are Akershus breakfast, CP early breakfast(to see a nearly empty Main St), Garden Grill, and Le Cellier.

Have a good trip!:goodvibes

Here are a few we enjoy as a family:

Ohana Breakfast and dinner.
Teppan Edo
Cape May Cafe. Always a must do on every trip.
Whispering Canyon Cafe. Fun atmosphere.
Tusker House for breakfast.

Here's some of our favorites:

Liberty Tree Tavern (good break from the std. nuggets)
50's Prime Time
Tutto Italia (had an awesome lunch there)
Kona Cafe - great desserts!
Whispering Canyon Cafe - good fun

Excluding ones you already mentioned, here's my family's top 10.

(Why? Sometimes the food, sometimes to explore a resort, sometimes the atmosphere.)

1. Boma (Explore AKL, fun to try different flavors)
2. Brown Derby (HS, Fantasmic package, great food, great service)
3. Kona (Explore Poly)
4. San Angel (EP, yup, we loved it...cool decor and soothing environment, good food)
5. Yachtsman (Explore BC and YC and walk Boardwalk, good steak)
6. Le Cellier (EP, excellent steak, great service)
7. Whispering Canyon (Explore WL, fun, engaging environment, comfort food)
8. T-Rex (Explore DTD, Awesome atmosphere, we had v. good burgers and great service)
9. Via Napoli (great pizza and darn good salad, moderate price)
10. Yak n Yeti (AK, cozy, delicious if you like chinese/asian/american)

In no particular order:

Boma

Artist Point

Flying Fish

Via Napoli

Le Cellier

Grand Floridian Cafe

Cape May Buffet

Raglan Road

Ok we have the start of our list:

50's prime time whenever

Garden Grill with Chip n Dale

Cape May dinner

1900 Park Fare ( potentially) Mary Poppins breakfast

Akershus Princesses lunch

Ohana with Stich breakfast

Rainforest Cafe ( either DTD or AK don't care) dinner

Crystal Palace early Breakfast on last day

I loved Le Cellier, the cheddar soup was amazing, as was the steak.

Also, Tusker House and Garden Grill, both character dining. We had lunch at Tusker House and the buffet was really good. There was plenty of stuff for my picky teenagers who weren't all that excited about trying anything that looked even a little bit exotic. Garden Grill at dinner, served family style, was also excellent. I had read bad reviews saying that the mahi mahi was fishy, but I thought it was very good, as did my picky girls, and none of us normally like fish at all. Their rolls with maple butter were delicious, as was the dessert with vanilla bean whipped cream.

The Liberty Tree Tavern was a delicious family style meal; we scarfed down two baskets of rolls with honey butter, for which we were mildly scolded by our server who was concerned that we wouldn't have room for dessert. That was not a problem, however, dessert was amazing. It was white cake cooked around apples and cranberries with vanilla bean ice cream on top. And right after dinner we just stepped outside and watched the electrical parade.

Here are some of our favorites that you haven't done yet.:thumbsup2
1.Cape May (our favorite character breakfast)
2.Teppan Edo (the kids loved this one!)
3.LeCellier (love the filet and chocolate "moose")
4.'Ohana (unique and fun dining at its best)
5. T-Rex (we all enjoyed the theming and the food was excellent)
