There will be 11 family members going to Legoland for one day. Should they rent a van for the day? a limo? taxi to the trolley?
All suggestions are welcome.

Renting 2 vehicles is probably going to be the cheapest option. A twelve passenger van would probably be more expensive.

You could take two taxis, but it would cost around $400 round trip.

$400 Yikes!

I tried searching for a van rental from the car care center, but couldn't get the option to go further than an SUV...should I call directly?

You can try calling, but not everyplace rents 12 passenger vans. if you can find one, it will probably cost significanly more than 2 minivans. They are also much more difficult to drive and park.

I would rent 2 minivans or SUVs. Or a minivan and a car.

If you go to the Legoland website - there is information that they have a dedicated bus that leaves from the Outlet Mail at a specific time each day. It is very cheap but you have to be there when it leaves. A taxi to the outlet mall would be cheaper than $400.00

It is on their website under Know before you Go -

LEGOLAND Florida Shuttle

LEGOLAND Florida offers daily shuttle service from the Orlando Premium Outlets on operating days. Learn more about fees and location.

2 taxis, round trip would be somewhere in the $120 to $200 range. When you add $55 for the shuttle, it's still cheaper to rent 2 vehicles and you wouldn't be at the mercy of the shuttle schedule.

Thanks for the info.
Looks like we will go for two rentals, and hit the Outlet Mall that evening on our way back to the cont.
