I need help if anyone can......

I am trying to upload songs from my Itunes library onto a GPX MP3 player. The instructions are too basic- w/ no real info. It says:

Steps 1-3 are on how to place which switches where- which I got.

Then step #4-
"Use your computers browser to locate the desired files for download".
-Do not alter the contents of the "system" folder. The folder will normally be hidden from view.
-You can also use Windows Media Player to transfer songs. Refer to the help menu in Windows Media Player for more information.

This is all it says. It is not helping as I'm still not understanding how to get these songs from Itunes onto this thing. I would be so grateful if anyone could help------- THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Reply Edited I reread what you said*

Okay are the songs in the library all mp3's or also the Itune codecs?

If they are all mp3's locate the library folder on your computer.
If you do not know where the Itunes music library is located on your computer, do this
Open Itunes
Click on Edit
Click on Preferences
From the Pop Up Menu click on the "Advanced" tab
This will show you the location of the Itunes music folder.

Close out Itunes

Go back into your computer and locate the music library.

Select the song you want then right click on it.

From the pop up menu you should see an option that says "Send To"

Mouse over that and another pop up menu should appear with your mp3 player being one of the options to send to.

Thank you for the response. After the last few hours of frustration---- I finally realized my Itunes files don't appear to be in a compatible format. I signed up for Walmart.com- and downloaded a bunch of songs that uploaded right away through the media player. Cheaper too--only downside is the selection isn't as good. So, I still might have to figure something else out.

Okay there is a way to use the purchased songs in your Itunes library.
If you have a CD burner you can burn them onto CD then bring them back into your Itunes as mp3's. If you use a rewritable cd's you wont need alot of cd's. Then once you have done that go back into the folder and find the songs that are in the mp3 format :)

Itunes isnt always compatible with all MP3 players. You might want to take the files you have in your Itunes library and resave them as a different format.
