Help Understanding MyDisneyExperience, MagicBands, and MVMCP

Thank you in advance to the kind soul(s) that attempt to help this OCD freaker-outer.

Our trip is scheduled for Dec 14-21. Our first time in the parks will be at 4pm on Thursday, Dec 15 for the Christmas party. We are staying off property for the first time. This will also be our first trip utilizing the MagicBands. (I know...it has been too long!) We have purchased park hopper tickets and loaded them into our MyDisneyExperience on the WDW web site. Each hopper ticket has been linked to a family member. We have also purchased MagicBands from the Disney Store and loaded them into our MyDisney Experience. They are also linked to specific family members. As I review things, I can see a person and a park ticket hopper associated with a MagicBand for each family member. We also purchased MCMVP tickets and loaded them into the MyDisneyExperience. Each MVMCP ticket has also been linked to a family member.

But, in the MyDisneyExperience site, Under My Account, where you can see the MagicBands and the associated family member names and park hoppers, the MVMCP tickets are not listed. Is this a concern? I can see the MVMCP tickets elsewhere on the MDE pages.

Also, We are not using one of our hopper days on our MVMCP day. Is the MagicBand smart enough to know not to use one of them as we enter the park at 4pm on our first day?

The easiest way to make sure everyone is linked to their ticket and band properly is to give IT a quick call. Especially if you are only using one log in and all the other accounts are managed accounts.

On your party day just make sure you only enter in a party labeled turnstile. Those turnstiles are coded to only remove party ticket allocations and nothing else so it can't accidentally take a regular day. Also make sure you enter after 4 and not before unless a CM confirms it is taking a party allocation and not a regular day.

Not sure about the magic band issues but Dec 16th is on Friday. Is that the day you wanted to go to the Christmas party? It is the same day that our family will be there.

The magicbands and cards section would show the magicbands, annual passholder cards or a card if you requested it from the resort instead of a magicband.

The tickets would appear under the tickets section.

The MDE app and the MDE website often have differing information. If things are showing up on the website you should be good and you should not worry about the app.
