So we got a new LCD TV a couple days ago and my 3 year old already scratched the black finish at the bottom of the screen. (been begging her to let me cut her nails for the past week, but she's been difficult).

So it's this shiny black finish which now has a couple of white lines because of the scratches. Is there anything I can do to make it not as noticeable?

She decides when her nails are trimmed :confused3

I agree, use a Sharpie.

She's rather hard to hold down when she doesn't want you to do something. She's not a small 3 year old - she's as big as a 5 year old.

I'll try the sharpie.

Cut them while she is asleep.

That's the only way I could cut DS's nails for the longest time. It was easier to clip the cat's claws than it was to get him to sit still for the process! Of course, I could wrap the cat in a towel, and she was tiny, LOL.

Sorry about your new TV.

My 2 year old has been a nightmare at having her nails clipped until I started bribing the bejeebers out of her. I put her in high chair, put on a TV show and for every finger clipped, she gets 1 mini M&M. It's seriously the only way I could get her to not freak out and yank. Now she sits there so enthralled in her show, she's lucky if she gets half the M&Ms, haha.
