Please help me choose between the two. I have ressies for both and am not sure what to do... I pretty much had myself talked into Mama Melrose and found alot of things that we would like. Calamari, chicken parm, pork marsala, spaghetti fra diavolo, spicy italian sausage, wood grilled chicken..yummy! What about Tutto's though. I haven't really lokked into that too much. Are menu choices comparable? Do either serve any free bread? We are also on the dining plan so we would get a dessert. Thank you for your help!

I have only read reviews about Tutto's but the place sounds fantastic! Mama's isn't bad, but it didn't WOW us.

Both are good but if I had to pick between the two it would be Tutto.

I don't know what your touring schedule is, but solely based on dining, Tutto.

We have done both and prefer Tutto. The food is so amazing at Tutto and I like the menu better. MM dinner was eh but their lunch is nice for salads and pizzas

i'll be the odd ball and say MM.. my very picky DH loves it!! It's the only place he still talks about after over a year! we go back in january and he told me we had no choice but to go back there at least once... :thumbsup2

Can you do both? We have done MM's and it was okay, we are going to go back again when we are in DHS in Nov. But we are also doing Tutto's and all I've read are rave reviews of that restaurant, so I'm really excited to eat there!! So, even though I haven't even eaten yet at Tutto's, I would still pick it if I had to pick just one of the places. Like I said, MM's was good enough, but Tutto's sounds really awesome and just from standing outside reading the menu, I know it smells wonderful!! :thumbsup2

Can you do both?

As much as I would love to try both, I just can't fit it into this trip. I have ressies for every TS meal on our DP and I just can't come to cancel any other ressie. :confused3 Too many good ones booked, I love them all!

Oh my, I know what you mean! I'm trying desparately to get an ADR at Le Cellier, but in reading a couple reviews of Tutto, I trying to figure if we can add a second ressie there. Maybe if we don't get Le Cellier, but won't know that for sure until the days we are there, if somebody cancels that day. Arrghgh!!

Okay, well, anyway, I guess maybe you'll have to decide which park you want to be in on the day you need the ressie, then let that help you decide! Again, I say Tutto's, though I actually prefer DHS to Epcot, but DD loves Epcot. :confused3 Decisions, decisions! :goodvibes

I have not eaten at Tutto, but I still voted for it! Based on the reviews I have read about it and pictures I have seen, Tutto looks like a great restaurant with much more authentic Italian food. Our time at Mama Melrose was less than impressive. The food wasn't great, the service was bad, it was just sub-par. I know a lot of people love Mama Melrose, but I would go with Tutto hands down.

We love Mama! We have a very picky eater (DD age 11), and this is the one restaurant she requested! It's relaxing, we've had great service, and the food was yummy!

Yeah, me too. That's one of the places I can't seem to secure either. I booked Spoodles, just in case, but have heard good things about it. So atleast if I can't get LeCellier, I'll have a good backup. (hopefully):confused3

I think maybe I'll have a better shot closer to the date, within a couple days or day of, as people find they can't go. I'll have to call periodically throughout the days beofre while we are in the parks! Good luck to you! :)

We have a pickey eater too, my DS8, and we loved Tutto's
He had spaghetti but with olive oil, he dosen't like the sauce
and he had the bread, salad, he loved it

And one of the Italian girls was flirting with him. He asked for sprinkled
parm cheese and she said for a kiss on the cheek he could have it
He was so embarassed, but he did plant one on her cheek!
:goodvibes

Tutto doesn't accept the dining plan, but it is so worth it to just pay.
Mama's hasn't been good at all lately.

Hi,
We no longer enjoy dinner at Tutto and have found that the best Italian food in one of the parks is Mama Melrose's at DHS and the best on property is Il Mulino's.

Since when? According to the 2008 Dining Plan pdf on Disney's site Tutto is on the Dining Plan.

We haven't tried Tutto yet but we ate at MM in August and we all enjoyed our meal. Mama Melrose is less expensive so if you are not on the Dining Plan it might be the better choice.

You also have to consider your touring plans and which park you will be in. For us, Mama Melrose is a good choice for the night we go to Fantasmic. We already have a few Epcot meals with LeCellier and Chefs de France which we refuse to miss.

That said, I think we will be trying to work Tutto into our schedule for next August.

Tutto is on the dining plan and is excellent :thumbsup2

Yes, when I called last week to get an ADR at Tutto's the CM asked if I was on the DDP, and then helped me figure out my reservation time. I'm sure she would have informed me at that time if it wasn't on the plan. Can't wait!! :)
