I am having a hard time putting together a touring plan for Magic Kingdom to make all my kids happy. I have a 2, 6, 8, and 10 year old. I have seen all the plans on touringplans.com and they all look great however I am not sure how to custimize. Example.. My older kids will want to ride things the baby can not and then there are rides that my 2 year old would like that are not something the older three would want. I was trying to get a plan for DH and the older three to do Future World and then meet me in Fantasy Land after I do some rides with the baby. DH wants to do Peter Pan and Philharmagic together but I am not sure of what times would be best and I want to have a plan to follow so we are not stuck in major crowds. We are going to be spending two or more days in Magic Kingdom so it isn't like we have a time limit. I just want to try to make every one happy. Am I asking to much? I have the touring plan for boy's age 4-8 and the one for small children 2 day plan. How could I combine them and still see what everyone wants?

Any thoughts?

I'm just curious what a 2 year old would enjoy at MK that a 6, 8 or 10 year old wouldn't? Is this recommended on touringplans.com?

I 'm not sure. I just remember that my older boy's didn't want to ride to many of the rides in Fantasy Land last October. I know that my 2 year old can not ride some of the rides they can so I thought it would be a good time to split up a bit then we can all ride the rides in FL that everyone enjoy's together. Then our 2 year old would not get restless and the older three would not need to stand around and wait.

It really isn't a big deal. I was just wondering about it. I am sure we will figure something out and all will be happy. We will be at Magic Kingdom that day after all!! Like I said he have at least 2 day's to enjoy MK and we will get everything done that we would like to do.
Thanks!

Dreams4disney, have you seen the "Happy Family" touring plan on the site? It's designed to keep the entire family together for the Magic Kingdom's most popular rides, but let older kids skip the kiddie rides in favor of things small children can't ride. It's a one-day plan, but converting it to a two-day plan is simple.

I've been ask not to post links to the site here, but you should be able to find the plan fairly easily. If you go to the site's main page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and look for a box labeled "Sneak Peeks" in the lower, right hand corner. In that box, click on the words "Magic Kingdom Happy Family One-Day Touring Plan." Access to this plan is free, for anyone else that's curious.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to adapt it to your needs. If no one objects, I'd be willing to explain how we'd convert that one-day plan into a two-day plan here, so that others may benefit from the conversation.

Thanks again,

Len

lentesta Thanks! I did not see the Happy Family Plan. I will check it out this morning. Thanks so much for your help It sounds exactly like what I am looking for. I do not know how I missed it. I was on that site just about all day saturday.

Also wanted to add that if you can post it here, could you please show how it can be converted into two days? Thanks!

Or you could go to www.TourGuideMike.com and everything would be customized for you, and you'll see the attractions that are most appropriate for your kids ages. Highly recommended!
