I am still so torn as to whether or not I should keep my Le cellier ADR... we are going on a Sunday night at the end of Sept... ADRs at 5:45... I am so worried about the wait to be seated and to actually get our food... I don't think my DD2 can wait 45 minutes to be seated and a 2 hour meal on top of that... Does anybody have any suggestions of anything better? It is our first night and we were planning on doing the World Showcase... We are staying at WL, but we are already eating at WCC, Ohana, Coral reef, CRT, PRime time later in the week... :confused3

How about inside Mexico or Boma for dinner or brown derby for dinner. I totally understand where you are coming from.

Le Cellier is our favorite restaurant at Disney! We had the dining package so we ate at a few nice restaurants. This one was definitely the best! We only waited 10 minutes for our reservation although it was a little later in the evening and only two of us. I wonder if you could call ahead, check in early, etc. to cut down on the wait time?

You have to check in person and all of the party.

They will give you a buzzer thingy so you could walk around with your son, maybe? This is what we do. My husband will wait and I walk around the little water falls. I also do the kid cot station. He just calls my phone when the table is ready. Also, make sure you know what you want to order. As soon as we sit down we will order and let the server know that we are in a bit of a hurry. It is a great place to eat but all kids are different. If you think it would be to much then maybe eating somewhere else would be better. Good luck with what you deside.

This place is so worth the wait. My wife and I had our 5 and 2 year old with us. I did as seven dwarfs recommended. I held the buzzer and I called my wife on her cell phone for her and the girls to join me. This is our favorite restaurant and we go a couple of times a year.

We just ate there a couple of weeks ago on a Monday evening with ADR's for 6:00 pm and had a 5 minute wait (if that) and our dinner at the most was 1 hour. They also brought out the bread almost immediately :thumbsup2 The thing that ended up taking the longest was to get dessert (maybe 10 minutes). Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner and nice atmosphere!!

I think Le Cellier is the best place to eat in World Show case for a sit down meal. Although I haven't done the fancy french place that is a 30 day priorty booking...the name is escaping me right now...anyway, the wait shouldn't be too long with priority seating, not more than any other.

I didn't see Sci Fi in MGM on your list and my DD LOVES it ther (don't ask me why) and it is relatively inexpensive compared to others.

We have a tradition that we ALWAYS go to Chef Mickey's our first night. we usually don't go to a park b/c we get in so late, so that gets us in the Disney mood.

Hope my ramblings were helpful!

I wouldn't worry! Check in, wander the pretty garden path outside until your name is called. Dinner will not last 2 hours... 90 minutes tops...

Enjoy!!!!

one of my girls will be 2 on our next trip and I wont be making any ADRs past 515. It may help if you have a little snack w you like cheerios etc. Incase the baby is starving :thumbsup2

So we just let our kids color while we waited for our table to be ready. Everyone loved everything about Le Cellier.

I doubt you'll have a long wait at 5:45. And when you sit down know what you want and explain to the host/hostess and again to the waitperson that you'd like to move quickly through the meal with kids.
