Help to see characters

Are there any characters at the resorts. Or anywhere not in park.

I am babysitting my 2 year old grand daughter. And she is not going in park. Would obe just one pic with her and a character.

I have tried making dining reservations. As of niw everything booked but I will keep trying the dining.

Hi Lynn,
I'm not sure what time of year you will be taking your grand daughter.
The deluxe resorts will have characters right around Christmas but not other times.
Every night at Fort Wilderness there is Chip'n Dale's Campfire Singalong. There are treats and the characters host a meet and greet.
If 7pm isn't too late at night for your 2 year old grand daughter this might fit the bill!

Don't forget children under three get into the parks free. So if you get yourself a park ticket you can take her into the parks. That might not work out a bad deal if you are thinking about dining anyway which would cost $30-$50. Take a stroller and something to occupy her if waiting in line (or make some FPs) and just spend a day at the Magic Kingdom visiting characters.

Not sure how much you're willing to pay, but there is a character breakfast at the Swan Hotel on the weekends- Garden Grove restaurant. I'd expect that to have availability. It can be booked through Disney, or directly.

There is also a character breakfast at Four Seasons Orlando, within WDW, on certain days of the week. Also book-able both through Disney or directly.

I've already checked all the non park character beaks and nothing available.

Sadly have not been given permission from the patents yet to take her to her first magic kingdom visit without them

But I will check into that chip and dale sing along.

Just wanted to share the direct phone numbers with you. If you call, you'll be accessing a pool of tables that is outside of Disney's reservation system. When Disney says they're booked, calling directly will usually get you a reservation.

Edit: Both restaurants can also be booked via the Open Table app or website. I also forgot that Garden Grove has a character dinner 7 nights a week.

Check out the reservation cancellation thread under dining here on the board. I've managed to score a few hot ticket meals through that. Also agree with calling directly.
