Just as an update....

Thank you so much for the advice. I have actually decided not to go. I am not sure when my DH is going to Japan and we have 2 trips already planned between now and June 2007.

Believe me, I am aching to go, but I don't think it is in the cards.

Good decision. I hope your DH can be home that week so that you're not disappointed about your decision. Now, go hug your dh for me and say "thanks".

am sure that was a tuff decision - but it is the one i would have made - if you're feelin' the need to travel that holiday wknd, take the kids to the fryeburg fair - and stop to visit us! [we'll be at the vacation house near shawnee peak - just off maine rt 302]
