We go to Disneyland in 2 weeks. We already have tickets. I have an annual pass and the rest of my family 5 day hoppers. I thought it would be smart to already link the tickets to my account.

The linking went smooth, But the minute after linking it said expiration date 12-08-2017. The day we arrive. Does anybody have experience with this kind of situation?

Of course I only linked One of the tickets for now.

Help Please!

FWIW, I haven't had this problem but I understand that it's very common and nothing you need to worry about. Apparently there's some bug in the app (or in the way tix are evaluated) that causes this. Apparently the exp date(s) move forward as the calendar advances. Or something like that.

Anyone else with more experience that can help?

I see they finally updated the app so that you can scan your park tickets. I bought mine from LMT and just scanned them. The tickets have an expiration date of January 13, 2018, first use on December 31, 2017. However, the app shows an expiration date of 8/3/2017. We are not planning on going until September so this has me a bit worried. Anyone else have this issue? I wonder who I would call to straighten it out.

EDIT - Never mind, if I scroll down I see the correct expiration dates. I guess I just panicked!

Edit #2 - The details actually say December 21, 2018 and January 13, 2019. I wonder when they really expire!

From a previous thread...seems common but ok

Yep, happened to me. The date forwards another day each day that you don't use the ticket. No worries, link away!

Thank you all!

I Did make a call to Disney to and they confirmed it. I don't think the ticket/app issue is the Disney way to threat your customer, But That's another Discussion.

The CM at the phone was very nice.

Just thought I'd point out that in the US we put the month first when writing dates using numbers. So 12-8-17 is December 8, 2017, not August 12. If that helps. :)
