Here is our plan: Going from Oct 7th - Oct 20th. Will be myself and my two girls, 12 and 11 at the time. We currently have a room at home resort (AKV) but definitely going to switch with the help of pixie dust at the 7 month mark. We want to stay at MK resort for the first 6 nights and then switch to Epcot resort for the last seven nights….I know, I know….I am hoping for the almost impossible during F&W, but so far I have gotten every WL I have gone for, so will plan on it working out :)

We are planning on a studio for the first six nights and 1BR for the last 7 nights if that makes a difference in your opinions!
For MK nights we have stayed at VWL, GFV, and BLT. We like them all, although GFV is definitely winner for us. Just wondering if a studio standard is even a remote chance this time of year?? Would love to try for Poly but know that will probably be a very long shot.

For the Epcot nights we have never stayed over that way so really would love input on what ya think would the best. We are planning on heading into Epcot daily and love the thought of a short walk over.

Give me all your ideas and input! I am a month away from the 7 month mark and need to have my plan ready to go!

TY!

You might have a better chance at Poly than VGF. There are rooms available and not that many owners yet.

For Epcot, you're best chances will be BWV garden/pool view. It's possible you might be able to snag a BCV 1 bedroom...that's what I'm hoping to get for late Sept/Oct. BCV would be the shortest walk to Epcot, and you'd have access to SAB.

However, BWV would be great as well. The walk to Epcot is nice. Plus when you walk back at night, you can watch all the performers. Last time it rained most of our trip, the performers came into the BWV lobby to perform. My kids loved it. And don't forget the bakery and ice cream parlor right at your finger tips!

I would keep my options open. You may have a better shot at Epcot the first leg rather than the last.

Good idea to think about Epcot for first leg of trip! I am trying to let my oldest help plan where she wants to be as much as possible as she will be turning 13 on this trip and she is a humble kiddo who wants to make sure everyone is getting to enjoy what they would like on the trip :) She is a fine diner to say the least and wants to have a great meal for her birthday so I know I want to try a new place for steak with her!
