Help! Thinking of changing hotels

We cannot afford to stay at AK for our whole trip and have booked water view at CSR BUT had a thought last night about maybe changing hotels for our last night to AK S.view. Was thinking it might be fun to stay there one night (and then we could also do the safari in the am) BUT not sure how much trouble it would be to change hotels and how much time it would take up from our trip. You know packing checking out checking back in. Has anyone done this and what do you think. Is it worth it? THANKS , oh we are going Nov. 13-19 and I am already thinking we do not have enough time!!

CSR will transport your luggage to AKL for you so you can head to a park and then check in at AKL later in the day.

You should post this question on the Disney Resorts board as there are many people who do split stays.

Some folks enjoy split stays, but for me I'd rather unpack once than get packed up again and move. The worst part of any trip for me is the packing up to go home!

To me, it wouldn't be worth it to pay for a savannah view room only to be there for just one night. It takes time to pack up and move, then unpack (or really, not since it's just one night) then pack up and check out again to go home. I'd rather get settled in and stay put personally!
