We have made our plans to go Dec 14-20. We will not check in until around 11pm on the 14th. My problem is I can't figure out where to stay. We can get all 6 nights at the CBR Rack (unless something better comes along) for about 150.00 cheaper than 5 nights at the swan and stay at a cheap hotel the first night since we will be checking in so late. We have stayed at CBR before and it was great (during 01 tropical storm).
My husband loves loves loves the boardwalk area and it is very convient to epcot and mgm but CBR is only a 2 min car ride to the boardwalk area also. I just need some input on the Swan since I do not know much about it, and in you guys opinion is it worth the appox $200.00 (adding cheap hotel in there) to stay there. Please Diser's I need input!!'

PS It will be Me (26) DH (30 something) and DD (2)

Thanks

That should not be too busy of a time to go. Therefore, it would not be that important to me to stay in the Epcot area. I would do CBR and spend the $2oo on something extra dn fun.

I would go with CBR. I have stayed at both, I don't think Swan (or Dolhpin) are the same as staying in "Disney". Yes, it is on Disney's property & you have (or at least did when I stayed) the EMH & bus transportation, but I don't think you have the package ship to your resort & I know it isn't decorated "Disney". It is the same as any nicer end resort...just not Disney.
