My husband surprised me with a last minute trip to Disney World 12/19 - 12/26. He hasn't been since Epcot opened! I've been a couple of times as a tag along to help with kids.
Here's my problem: we aren't planners (it comes from not having children - we're very fly by the seat of your pants kind of people). But I know that in order to make this trip successful I'm going to have to plan, make ADRs, etc. I really don't know where to start.
1. Where should we stay on the property? A moderate resort is in the budget. Any suggestions? I'm booking tonight or tomorrow!
2. Eating is way up in the air. I've tried to make ADRs and most are totally booked for that week. DH isn't a breakfast eater, but I am so I know we'll do breakfast one day for me, but most other days we'll eat in the room and do lunch and dinner out.
3. Where do I find out a schedule of things that is going on that week? I feel like with the holidays there should be things going on that we should know about.
4. Is there a MUST do while we are there? Any suggestions would be helpful.
5. How do we find out about any of the special park tours? Like the behind the scenes tour? Are they worth it?
I've been reading these boards for 12 hours now and have a huge laundry list of ideas, but since I'm not a planner when it comes to travel, I'm more confused than ever! Help!!!
