Looking on the DCL website, it looks like the only 7-day summer cruise is the Mexican Riviera cruise. Is that right? Summer is the only time we can do a cruise with the kids and I was a bit surprised that this was the only option.
Next summer the Disney Magic is repositioning to sail off the west coast for the entire summer, leaving only the Wonder doing its regular 3/4 day itinerary to Nassau on the east coast.
We wound up booking a cruise earlier in the year before the Magic leaves to be able to sail the eastern caribbean. But we don't have kids to pull out of school/activites.

This summer the only cruise offered out of Florida are the three and 4 day cruises. The other ship is doing the Mediterranean cruise. Next year will be the same, only with one of the ships doing the Mexican Riviera.
We ran into the same problem and had to move up our cruise planning for the 7 day Caribbean.
