We are a family of 5 - 2A, 3C (18, 16, 12) We are coming to Disneyland next month. We will be staying July 23-29 and are looking for suggestions of where to stay. I have been looking at tons of hotels and my head is spinning. We would like a suite type room. It would be great to have a decent breakfast and wi-fi included. Probably won't rent a car so walking distance or an inexpensive shuttle would also be nice. We would also like it to not break the bank. (I know lots on the wishlist!) We haven't been to Disneyland in over 10 years so I am at a loss. We are WDW veterans and it always seems easy to me to choose a hotel. Thanks for any and all suggestions :)

Desert Palms Inn and Suites might be a good fit for you. They have actual suites where the King/Queen is in a different room than the bunks and pull-out couch. They also have breakfast there.

I'll say you're a bit late in the game, so it may be some trouble to get the rooms you want. DL is laid back for food ressies, but the hotels close by go quick.

Whatever you find, the sooner you book, the better the rate will be. As travel dates approach, rates increase. Not to mention availability decreases.

We have stayed at the Desert Inn & Suites when we have needed space for 5 or more. It isn't fancy but it was clean and close.

Embassy Suites South has a super awesome Atrium with animatronic lion, all suite rooms, and great free breakfast and managers reception. It is 1 mile off from DL so they have a privately owned shuttle that doesn't cost too much running every 30 minutes. Not sure on the Wi-Fi but seeing as they're further out, they probably throw that in to be more competitive.

Start with the SpringHill Suites Anaheim Resort/Convention Center, then Residence Inn Maingate and see if the Anaheim Courtyard Resort & Water Park is taking reservations yet.

After that, Residence Inn Garden Grove, Embassy Suites, DoubleTree Suites and TownePlace Suites.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I have checked into them. Some aren't available for our dates and some are over $300 a night which is more than we can really spend. While I was looking I came across both the Cortona Inn and BW Raffles. Any opinions on these two? Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks again!
