I need some help...

Four adults going to WDW in early December to celebrate an anniversary... We need two rooms and can't decide between two rooms at POR or POFQ or two studios at SSR?

What should we do??? :confused3

Thanks,
Goof

I was at SSR in December 2007 and POFQ in January 2007. I have to say that I enjoyed both, but would definitely choose SSR. I had a 1-BR villa, complete kitchen, jacuzzi tub, etc. I don't know if it would work for you, but why not share a 2-BR villa. If you have any questions, please ask.

By all means, POR! Especially if you are traveling with just adults. We loved CBR with the kids especially the food courts.

POR is beautiful, the boat to Downtown Disney is a real treat. The pool at POR is lovely and we like that there are quiet pools as well. Boatwrights Dining Hall makes it nice for a sit down meal or the terrific food court at POR is equally good.

POR for us! Have a good trip :flower3:

It all depends on what you want. POR/POFQ rooms won't have a microwave and toaster in them and the upper rooms don't have private balconies. POR/POFQ has the nice boat ride that take you to DTD and the resorts are really beautiful. You can also enjoy a nice horse carriage ride at POR.

But.... SSR rooms will have the private balcony, microwave and toaster. And you can walk to DTD or take a much shorter boat ride.

We've stayed at both and while both resorts have their perks, I don't know that I'd be willing to pay the higher price for SSR just for the microwave, toaster and to be within walking distance of POR/POFQ. If you are looking at POR/POFQ or a one bedroom at SSR I'd go with SSR mainly because of the jacuzzi tub. :)

I have stayed at both. Both are great IMHO. But if money was no object, I would go with Saratoga Springs.

I think it's more "adult." Eating facility was simpler. And I especially like that the quiet pools have hot tubs.

Thanks for all of the great info everyone...

I booked our trip at the SSR...

Now - onto planning the details of the trip...

Thanks again,
Goof
