We are booked for a split stay in mid-MAY ; Sat BCV studio, waitlisted for Sun, but have a studio booked for Sun at OKW then 1BR there for rest of the trip.

We LOVE BCV and SB!, we are staying there so we can just relax and pool for the first couple of days, and I'm planning on adding DXDP to 2nd night so for Rsv's already made it's very convenient.
where I'm looking for input is... in the time we've owned and before, we've only stayed at OKW and BVC
-part of me that wonders if we shouldn't try a different resort -BWV (not sure if there's even availability)
-Is the pool there wonderful? shaded areas, relaxing, maybe less crowded?

anything else I should take into consideration while I ponder this dilemma?

The Boardwalk is great... villas are comparable to BCV. Stormalong Bay is the best pool on property, but the Luna Park Pool at BWV is good. The Keister Coaster(water slide) is fun... Leaping Libations Pool Bar is good too.

It would be worth looking into BWV availability.

Hey Bob!
Thanks for the reply. While waiting for some responses, I went ahead and sent in our request:banana::banana::banana:

I'm so excited to try another resort and so many people in the past have said how much they enjoy the BWV.

Can't wait to try the scary clown slide:lmao:

now if our request comes through it will free up a BCV night in May for someone else!

I love BWV....my 2nd favorite. I prefer it to BCV. I'm not a huge fan of Stormalong bay....too spread out for me.

For me BWV is perfect....I can literally be at the pool bar watching DD go to the slide;):dance3:

It is on the water.....looking at swolfin and Studios...tower of terror. You can see from slide.

IMO BWV feels more upscale.....BW action.....
Give it a try....I tell you after my April trip I will have tried them all:). They are all great in their own way.
Happy planning

My first BWV stay was last year for an adults only trip. I enjoyed the resort for an adults trip. The surrounding action is fantastic. I thought the pool area very good. Having never stayed at BCV, I can't compare. I would recommend trying the BW, if not this trip, on another. I'm sure you will love it.

DH and I did a BCV/BWV split stay in October and besides the pool/pool bar at BCV (which we loved) we prefered everything else about BWV. We liked the theme and furniture in the room better at BWV and definately prefered the view. Eventhough we prefered SAB we also enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere at Luna Park after the crazy busy chaos that was SAB. I really loved both resorts for different reasons and would have no problems staying at either.
