Help! Someone stole my Mickey antenna topper

A friend of mine kept having his stolen so he used epoxy to glue it in place. He returned to his car one day to find the top half of his antenna missing, which cost a lot more to replace than the mickey topper. This was an old-style telescoping antenna, so I'll grant that it is a lot easier for a theif to rip in half than a modern whip antenna, but I'd still be careful about gluing.

I haven't had my topper stolen, but I did lose my Minnie topper in the car wash! It took a long time to replace it because they were hard to find, and when I finally got another one, my cat found it and chewed holes in her ears. She's up on my antenna now, holes & all.

Also wanted to say that I work at The Disney Store and we do NOT sell any antenna toppers right now and probably will not in the future. In the past there have been a few (the last ones were Meet the Robinsons and their ears kept falling off), but since Disney reacquired the stores, all theme park specific merchandise (such as antenna toppers and Mickey ear hats) is no longer being sold in Disney Stores. The exception would be the World of Disney store in NYC, since that is operated by the parks and not by The Disney Store.

Only until 2010, then it is transferred back to The Disney Store.

Thank you Jean for a sweet offer. I will be glad to accept. I am sending you much pixie dust in return. My 80 year old mom went with us and bought the pirate topper for me. I did not have the heart to tell her it was gone before the new wore off of it. Now I can tell her of his fate, but a wonderful DISboard person replaced it for me. I've had them stolen numerous times... all colors and varieties... in a university student lot. Who knew?

I had to stop putting them on my antenna. Actually, now I hang them with clear thread from my rear view mirror. Haven't had those stolen yet!

I tied one to a string in my garage and use it to know when to stop pulling into the garage. When Mickey hits the windshield, it's time to stop!

I, too, have had a Mickey antenna topper stolen.

We had one of the red, white & blue patriotic Mickey antenna toppers. In August after we picked our car up from the dealership (service visit) I noticed the antenna topper was gone. But, we were planning to buy a new one during this year's trip (in 18 days!) anyway since the one we had was really faded so we let it go. That antenna topper lasted almost 2 years.
