Here are our ADR's - 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 4)

Donalds Breakfast

Tonys Grand gatering breakfast


We plan to take things for breakfast and also share CS meals.

Total after tax: $460.93 min $501.59 max
DDP cost (assuming 7 nights): $713.72

Difference: $252.79 or $212.13

This is the minimum what you would have to spend on Tony's breakfast, 14 kids CS meals, 14 adult CS meals, and 28 snacks in order for the DDP to save you money.

A conservative CS cost per adult meal would be $13. For 14, the total cost would be $182.00

A conservative snack average would be $2.50. For 28, the total cost would be $70.00

The key to the DDP is ALWAYS using your available credits. Based on my numbers, your ADR choices, the current listed prices, the Basic DDP would work for you.

Using the PP's math... let's assume the cost of the meals is somewhat in the middle, say $483.72, which makes the Basic DDP $250 more than the price of those meals listed (assuming 7 nights).

That comes with 28 CS meals (14 adult, 14 child) and 28 snacks. If the CS meals average $8.93 each (pretty reasonable estimate, considering half are child's and half are adult's), then that brings the meal cost total to the $713.72 for the Basic DDP.

That means you'd get the 28 snacks and the Tony's GG meal for free.

You'd probably spend close to the same OOP, and get less food for doing so.

Also, with your family having 2 adults & 2 kids, you could possibly maximize some CS places by sharing two meals among the 4 of you. It won't make a difference on your bottom line but you'd get more meals out of your CSs. I was thinking like using 1 adult & 1 child credit each morning for a breakfast when you're not eating one TS.
