I'm pretty sure I've never had either one. I know I've never had Spam. My dad wouldn't touch it as an adult because he was forced to eat it so much as a child.

Spam is pork. Part ham Part other pieces of pork.

Beefaroni is less than 2% beef.

I pick Spam because beefaroni you kind of have to have as is. Spam can be substituted for ham in so many things.

dude you're overpaying-i have a kid addicted to the stuff and never pay more that 85-87 cents per can.

Definitely Spam. Spam and eggs, fried Spam sandwiches. I like Beefaroni but I can make it myself very easily and it is much better than the canned stuff. I love scrapple too but haven't had it in years.

I pick Beefaroni!! Hey in some ways my palate has matured and in other ways not lol. I still love Chef Boyardee (though I do prefer the ravioli over the Beefaroni)

Don't be put off when the Spam slides out of the can with a loud Shpluck and lands on the plate covered in jelly. You can rinse that stuff off, doing that also takes away a bit of the saltiness.

I told him about the goo - that's something someone iffy about Spam should definitely be warned about

I eat SPAM once a month or so in memory of my dad. He fixed something with it about that often at home. He was in the Army during World War II and he says if you were somewhere where you had SPAM, not rations, you were far enough from the front line that you weren't going to get killed that day.
We didn't buy Beefaroni when I was a kid, too expensive. I have purchased it a few times and don't get the draw to it.
So SPAM would be my only option.
Only canned pasta dish I really liked was Franco American Macaroni and Cheese. THAT was the bomb. But they stopped making it.
