Help settle an argument

You can fit a twin size air mattress btwn the window and the bed and at the foot of the beds. It is a tight squeeze and you will be blocking the exit door and having to climb over the end of the bed to get to the bathroom but it can be done! And has been done Full size air matress will not fit!

I can see your husbands side. I think it is more of a point thtt things need to be discussed. DH and I talk everything over. It makes him feel more respected to be involved in purchases. We shop together for groceries too. I guess we are just old fashioned but not old. I do agree with you though that it will not fit in the rooms at pop. But like a pp said. 2 kids to a bed, 2 adults to a bed and baby in a pnp. We did this on our trip and it worked well for us. Hope you find a solution.

I don't discuss any purchases with DH unless they are way outside of what we normally budget for our needs. You need to do what is right for your family and finances, but discussing a $30 air mattress ?

I really can't imagine fitting a twin mattress in one of those rooms without it being a hazzard. I would look for a toddler size one or really reconsider the adequacy of the accomodations for my family, if everyone can't have their own sleeping space without bringing along an extra mattress.

Did the OP check with any of their friends or family to see if they may have had a twin size one?

And I'm not saying that the OP is in this situation...but lots of $10, $20 or $30 things add up.

$2000 for a trip to Disney is okay. But when you throw in all of the "stuff" that some people feel they just "must" and "need" to get...it can get much more expensive.

It is enough to freak some husbands out.
