Help! Ring bought at WDW lost stones

I not sure if anyone can suggest anything that I can do. I bought a ring at DD arriabas(sp) on Dec. 23rd and have worn it since then, this morning I noticed it was missing 7 stones from the ring. I know they were there Friday because soemone was looking at my ring. I am heartbroken I love this ring! Yes I didn't spend alot on $ (only 30.00) but for the stones to fall out within 1day. Maybe I should just accept the fate of my ring but any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have the receipt it will be an easy fix. Contact WDW merchandising and explain the situation. The receipt will have a UPC number that they can use to identify your ring.

Several years ago my DD bought a ring (Mickey with three stones) and within a few weeks of returing home one stone fell out somewhere. She had purchased it with cash and didn't keep the receipt. After explaining what the ring looked like and where it was bought although it took several months because we didn't have the receipt she received one in the mail.

I bought a sterling silver ring at the Contemporary Resort in early August. One of the stones fell out within the first week and it also turned black-AND turned every other piece of fine jewelry on me black-even my gold! I wrapped it up in the receipt and was going to mail it back until I decided to take a trip back in December. I took it back to Mouse Gears and told them what happened, they gave me a full refund on the spot. No hassles at all.

I would guess that if you called like the PP poster said, they would send you a replacement without requiring you send the defective one back. If they do want you to send it back, ask them if they will pay for the shipping to them since it was their defective product. Disneyshopping.com has always done this for me. They tell me to keep the product I have and dispose or donate, and they send me a new one free shipping.

I just purchased the Dooney & Burke Mickey wrislet from Uptown Jewelers in MK on our December trip. The strap already broke and I contacted Merchandising. They were very helpful & sent me a label to FedEx the purse to them. We just sent it last week so I haven't gotten my replacement yet, but so far its been a very painless process!
