I will be traveilling to WDW next Dec 09 with my daughter who will have turned 2 at the time of our trip. I was wondering if anyone can help me with some information regarding what rides I can and can't take my daughter on. I know the obvious ones like space mountain (which will be closed) and Expedition Everist, but what about like Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania. Help. Thanks in advance

If you are talking about Magic Kindgom...don't you worry, you'd be surprised at the number of rides your little one will like. Hit Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom and you can ride them all -- will probably be begged to spend all day there (for e.g. Dumbo, Pooh, Nemo, Small World, Mickey's Phillarhomic, Peter Pan, Tea Cups....). Ironically, my dd did better at 2 on the scarier rides like Snow White and the Haunted Mansion than when she returned at 3 - heard the same from others. We did everything she could get on in every land which is most of the rides at Magic Kingdom, even the Pirates...and was begged to ride Aladdin's flying carpet ride three times in a row. We even rode the Monorail around Disney World and back again. Could go on an on...

In the end though, when asked what her favorite ride was, she told everyone the same thing, the tractor. By that she meant the parking lot tram. Go figure. :rolleyes2

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but, little ones can go on everything without a height requirement... which is a lot.
Our 2 yr old loved the rides, the shows, well she loved it all. :)

to add to the list for MK... the Jungle Cruise was a hit for us, oh and the People Movers :)
At Epcot, she loved Nemo, the land boat ride and the Circle of life show at the land. The ride in Norway was a hit also, which surprised me, but for days she was talking about the "fancy boat".
Loved the shows at Studios and of course all the animals at AK, it was harder for her to spot them on the safari, but the trails were great to let her walk and explore.

And yes, the parking lot tram is a huge hit :)

A warning the fireworks were not fun for our little one.
Just way to loud and she would freak out. So, I would hide in a store with her and try to distract her or one night my MIL took her back to the resort early, so we could see Illuminations.

Have a great time.

Thanks for the info. I was afraid that she wouldn't be able to ride anything. I am assuming as long as she will sit on my lap I can take her on it. And if she can sit next to me will be even better. That helps some of my worries. Anything you would stay away from?

We skip the energy pavilion at Epcot these days.
I think our little one would be fine with it, but its sooo long and there is no escape if she freaks out.

I mentioned the fireworks... those were hard for our DD.

Oh, two more at Epcot that she loved were Spaceship Earth.... she wasn't sure about it at first... the lighting is dim and its way above her, but during the ride they take pictures of you and at the end, while coming back down you get to see them and she LOVED that! And my kids are huge Three Caballeros fans, so they love the boat ride in Mexico.
