Help Rewards Card

Lots of questions so please bear with me.

1. Can I use my rewards dollars to help pay for annual passes?

2. I ordered my rewards card on 9/17. They said it would take 2 to 3 weeks.

3. I just received a notice saying I had to renew our annual passes by October 3 or pay over $100 more.

4. I called again and they assured me I would have the rewards card by September 28.

5. That would mean I would have to go to Disney in person to renew the passes which is not the end of the world.

6. Is there any way to speed up this whole process?

7. If I don't get the rewards card in time, can I use the rewards card toward my balance on my Disney Visa?

The only way I've been able to do this other than at Guest Relations in DTD is to go to the Disney Store and and buy and Annual Pass voucher with my rewards card.

Ours came in about a week, which is what I've heard other people say. I think you can also go to Guest Relations at DTD (not the Parks) and get a rewards card immediately. You can also get them to put more rewards dollars (if you have them in your account) on the card right there.

6. Is there any way to speed up this whole process?

People have reported being able to get a rewards card and get rewards dollars put on it at Guest Relations in DTD, so that might speed the process up. But if you have ordered a card already, this might not be an option.

7. If I don't get the rewards card in time, can I use the rewards card toward my balance on my Disney Visa?

I don't believe so, as the rewards dollars have to be spent at Disney and Bank One is the credit card issuer for the Disney Visa.

1. Can I use my rewards dollars to help pay for annual passes?

You can do this at any of the Guest Services in the parks. I just did it at Epcot to renew my annual. I got $150 off the price with the reward dollars. What they did was run the rewards card through the scanner, then run my Visa card to pay the balance.

I bet you could use them at the ticket booths at WDW, also. I haven't tried to do that because I've only used them for renewals.
