help! reviews please!!!

I'm scrambling here trying to make ADR's for our trip...so any and all suggestions are welcome please!!

I'm trying to find a place to have a birthday dinner for my boyfriend, he wanted to try Whispering Canyon Cafe, but they're all booked up.

tell me what you think about these places:

Concourse Steak House - (does that construction bother the restaurant?)

Sci Fi Dine in

50's Prime Time Cafe

Big River Grille on the Boardwalk

Since you said he wanted WCC, I think Prime Time would be fun. Lots of interraction to be had with the server, and good down home cooking. I also love Sci Fi, but you would be seated in a car with another family (cars have three rows of two). However, it would be very relaxing and if you like burgers, malts, onion rings and fries, this is a very good place to have them!

I also like Big River Grille, but in a sense its not really all that out of the ordinary. There are lots of places that brew their own beer and the menu is pretty standard. Atmosphere is nil unless you can sit outside and enjoy the Boardwalk. Sci Fi and Prime Time are just that only at WDW type atmosphere!

Never been to Concourse so can't help you with that one.

'50s Prime Time is a great place for a birthday dinner; your server will likely make a stranger (or a roomful of strangers) sing 'Happy Birthday' to him, and he might wind up with a colossal dessert; our server made us a smores platter with ice cream, caramel corn, M&Ms, whipped cream, and a candle in the middle for mine!
