I currently have a post looking for 36 BCV points. I have 25 points of my own and need the combined 61 for a Studio at BCV (Sun - Fri. in September). I've never done this before and am wondering how exactly I will make this reservation with points coming from two sources. Thanks for any help you can give me with this.

If I were you, I would rent points that can be transfered into your account so that you have them altogether to make the reservation yourself. Otherwise, you have to have the other party to make certain nights reservation. You cannot combine points to make up any particular night. I hope this will help.

You can ask people to transfer points to you and pay them whatever the $ you agreed on.
However, the points have to be "fresh" for them to be transfered, ie, not banked or borrowed. The transfer is irreversible and you can get to use these points to make reservation immediately. Bear in mind though that in each year, you are only allowed to either transfer in or out points, only one way, not both ways. You are allowed as many transfers as you would like, just cannot be both ways.
