Help re ticket price increase and taking off a hotel night

I've called and was told even with the new ticket prices if I take one night off my 10 night package nothing else will change in price. I won't be changing park passes number.
I have fd and 7 park passes.
I thought (as well as some I've spoke with in a fb group) any change to a package will cause you to pay the ticket increase.
What do you all know?

That is correct. Your ticket price is locked in.
