I have a 1 bedroom booked at OKW that I had to borrow points for

A 2 bedroom just became available and it's in my que for check out

How do I cancel the 1 bedroom and book the 2 bedroom online? I don't want to screw things up because of the borrowed points

Ok I royally screwed up. I think. On phone waiting for MS. I released the 2 bedroom and didn't hold onto the 2 bedroom however they took more points from 2016 from me. Now I have no 1 bedroom because I cancelled it and no 2 bedroom because I let the room go. I now have no room and 62 borrowed points sitting in my 2015 use year. UGH!!!!

Yes, if you wanted to use the same points that were getting you the one bedroom.

You can use two browsers; one to hold the 2-bedroom and the other to cancel the 1-bedroom. After you cancel, just click the "borrow points" button in the first browser, and then click cancel. That will refresh your available points.

Now I always just call to make the switch. After doing similar to OP and almost ending up with no room, I learned my lesson.

Except MS won't hold a room so it could turn out exactly like it did for the OP. It seems that the safest way is the 2 browser method.

You can use two browsers; one to hold the 2-bedroom and the other to cancel the 1-bedroom. After you cancel, just click the "borrow points" button in the first browser, and then click cancel. That will refresh your available points.

I've tried this before and it didn't work for me. When I logged in on the second browser it logged me out of the first browser.

Another strategy is to act like you are booking the room online, so you get to that 20 minutes to finish the reservation page, then call MS. With the room in your checkout hold no one can steal it while you call member services.
