Help! Quick! Computer... Resolution?

Okay, I am in need of help from a computer guru- Still no luck with pics yet but that is because Marcus has been home w/ a virus so I had been home with him until today... DH stayed home with him- I didn't even think to take my laptop to work with me and I am just getting home... My laptop has all icons and displayed pages, graphics, etc HUGE! This is at worst irritating to even look at- I have tried to change resolution - I have 32 bit true color and display of 1028 X768 or something similar to the "default" for 15.xx screen monitor (supposed to be suggested setting) My color looks... for lack of better word... "dimmer" and I have gotten it changed from HUGE to jjust BIG... LOL Please someone tell me what to check what to do>>> I really can't look at my screen this way-
DS-7 has done something obviously but swears not- (He was on my laptop today though)

You need to find your control panel and change the display settings. If memory serves you run Vista and I'd have no idea where it's located there. Maybe do a search in the help section or on line?

Hey! Thx so much! I was at work all day- got in a bit ago and have been struggling terribly with the "look" here- I did get to the control panel in Vista (yes, you remembered- LOL) I did this last night- I am not sure what changed it now but it did... I am wondering if restarting it did the trick?
At any rate, I am back to normal- Thx so much! I appreciate you took time to help me out! Just wondering... did my DS-7 do this or what? Seems to be quite a few steps for him to have been able to change everything so drastically- & at 7 years old! LOL

It's possible some program or game "required" the settings to be that way, particularly an older one, and he clicked yes when prompted to change them.
