We are going back to our beloved Disney at the end of May. I am pregnant with our 3rd child and will be 5 1/2 months at that time. While we are old hats at Disney and have done the DDP before. I am worried that I am going to be stuck between two masters, one being the baby and those baby cravings, and the other ADR's.

I am worried that I am going to need to eat before my ADR's and it is so hard to try and figure out when to eat. I hate the idea of making all of these ADR's and then canceling them due to pregnancy issues. I thought about trying to not do ADR's but we didn't make that many our last trip and paid for it by not being able to eat meals when and where we wanted to.

So can anyone make any helpful suggestions? Help me prepare for my trip?

Thanks so much,

I say go ahead and make those ADRs and just have a few small snacks handy in case you get hungry before you thought you would. Have a great trip!

Make the ADR's -- you will be miserable if you don't. Snack at will and don't fret about it!! (hog all the snack credits for YOU!!)

I'd make the ADR, and have a few snacks with you, just in case. Don't want to be a hungry mama in Disney! Always easier to have the ADR and not need it, then need it and wish you had it!

I would have to agree, with two kids you are probably going to have snacks anyway.

It is tough with ADRs, no matter what. At least you are an old hand at this. My first ADR for CP was perfect, my second for Play and Dine was a NIghtmare, it was about 1/2 too late, which can make a world of difference with a 2YO. As in, she was starving and tired by the time we got there.

I will be 8 months when we leave in 8 Days and I made ADR's. Some are earlier and some are later at night. I will pack some granola bars and other snacks. I don't think it will be that big of a deal. If you need to eat again then the 6 dollars is worth it!

Just remember to always have a snack in your bag. I use to always carry a granola bar, (I bought a big box at cosco) I would leave them in my pockets purse ect. I would also suggest nuts. These are healthy snacks for baby :) and they will help out.

But..........If your anything like I was (after the 6th month when the all-day-morning sickness wore off), eating meals in between meals won't be a problem anyway :rotfl: :rotfl:

Last July I was 18 weeks during our vacation. I had one of those pregnancies that required me to eat as soon as I was getting hungry or I became severely nauseated. Once getting to that point the rest of my day was a wash out. We made ADR's and for the most part did not have a problem. As others have suggested snack at will and eat small portions to cut down on the heat bothering you so. Good Luck!
